Project Youth Plus

The "Whatever it Takes" initiative, funded by the Oregon Youth Development Council, allows Project Youth Plus (formerly College Dreams) to work exclusively and intensively with students who are at risk of dropout or disengagement, but have strong potential for community college, technical training, or apprenticeships. The WIT program also partners with Innovation Academy in dropout prevention efforts, as staff will conduct weekly home visits and offer tailored support towards academic re-engagement and graduation.   

Services and support presented to the students of Innovation Academy would include but are not limited to:

College and Trade School 

• Credit opportunities
• Interest and skill assessments
• Campus visits
• Admissions assistance
• Financial aid dual education
• FAFSA assistance

Career Counseling

• Paid internships and work experiences  
• Work site visits
• Resume writing and mock interviews
• Workplace document recovery
